Go Karts Contest

Hey everyone! The OpenRCT2 developers and contributors have blessed us with new track elements for the Go Karts! The Go Karts have also been given defined behaviour for diagonal track elements, so they no longer teleport through those. I want to give everyone a chance to play with these new track elements, so for this contest you will have to build a Go Kart track! You can either build it with the track visible, or you can make the track invisible. It's up to you!

You are allowed to make teams of up to two people in this round!

Rule 1: You have to build a Go Kart ride somewhere in the map. The ride must be in Race Mode. You are allowed to change the track type or to make it invisible.

Rule 2: You must use one of the Go Kart vehicles from RCT1, RCT2 or their official expansions on the Go Kart ride.

Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 27th of May at 19:00 CEST!

Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v2.5 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v2.5 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.

Rule 5: The maximum map size for this round is 2000 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 40 x 50 tiles, or 44 x 45 tiles.

Rule 6: There is no limit to the amount of opened rides you can have in the park.
