Somewhere in the Yucatan Peninsula there is a smol theme park hidden in the jungle amongst ancient temple ruins. Temple Run was originally designed as a thrilling yet scenic go-kart track, weaving between old trees, tangled roots, waterfalls, and the remains of ancient temples. Months after opening, a series of sudden earthquakes shifted the terrain dramatically. A large portion of the track was violently thrust skyward. The once-gentle curve at the north end of the track now ended in a sharp, exhilarating drop that plummeted straight down onto the original path, barely stabilized with hastily installed support beams. Despite the obvious danger, thrill seekers began to flock to this park to experience Temple Run's "Jungle Plunge" (as the element has now colloquially been called). Kart wheels screech as they race toward the edge, momentarily catching air before slamming back onto the lower track. I hope you enjoy my park.
