A community center has hosted an annual autumn harvest festival for decades, featuring a rotation of temporary rides and eateries built on and around land leased from an adjacent farm. This year, it is attracting local thrill seekers with a spooky Halloween overlay and a handful of permanent rides, including a go-kart track through the farmland and a sketchy steel roller coaster with a full 360-degree loop, designed and welded by the farmer and his children for the community.
