In the mountains of western Romania, Parcul Carpati is a small section of the larger Parcul Romania, celebrating the region of Transylvania and the beautiful Carpathian Mountains. The centerpiece attraction is Vanturel, a GCI wooden roller coaster that traverses much of the park. There are several other flat rides and restaurants, and the park contains many impressive works of Romanian architecture.
