MC57 - Mini Thunder Rock Contest!

Hey everyone! One of the last scenarios of the Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 campaign is the scenario Thunder Rock! The available land is very limited, which makes it perfect for a mini contest! For this contest, you will have to build something on the Thunder Rock scenario! If you don't own RCT1, or if you're too lazy to select the DKSO scenery objects yourself, you can find a download at the bottom of this page! You are allowed to modify anything in the map, as long as you stay within the normally owned park area!



Rules

You are allowed to make teams of up to two people in this round!

  • Rule 1: You must build something in the original Thunder Rock scenario! You can find a download for a save game for this scenario at the bottom of this page if you don't own it yourself.

  • Rule 2: You are allowed to use any cheats, plugins and tools as long as you don't break any of the other rules with them.

  • Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 7th of April at 19:00 CEST!

  • Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v3.1 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v3.1 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.

  • Rule 5: You are not allowed to build outside the land you normally own in this scenario. You are allowed to build on the tiles where the park entrance is.

  • Rule 6: There are no restrictions on the amount of opened rides you are allowed to have.

  • Rule 7: Have fun!


How to join

  • Step 1: Join my Discord server. Discord is completely free!

  • Step 2: Build your map and decorate it!

  • Step 3: When you are done with your contest entry, go to my Discord, and use the /submitpark command in one of the channels, and follow the steps. Make sure our bot can DM you!

  • Step 4: If you want to update your story or save file, simply run the /submitpark command again, and follow the steps!

After the deadline has passed, I will put up a voting poll with all the entries. In this voting poll, everyone who is a member on my Discord, including you, will be able to rate all the other entries, and leave a short review.


When the voting period is over I will announce the results in a Youtube video!
