RCC75 - Giga Coaster Contest! (August 2025)

Hey everyone! The Giga Coaster in Rollercoaster Tycoon is based on Intamin Ultra Coasters (Mega-Lite) and Intamin Mega Coasters. Some examples of these rides are Expedition GeForce at Holiday Park, Goliath at Walibi Holland, and Millennium Force at Cedar Point! These coasters do not have inversions, but they usually have large drops, fast turns, and usually some great airtime moments. For this contest you will have to build a ride similar to this! In RCT Classic this coaster type got boosters, but in OpenRCT2 those have now been moved to the LSM Launched coaster. For this contest, you're also not allowed to use boosters on your coaster, only lift hills or cable lift hills!

Rules

You are allowed to make teams of up to two people in this round!

Rule 1: You have to build a Giga Coaster in the park. You're not allowed to use boosters on the track! You must use the giga coaster track.
Rule 2: You must use one of the standard Giga Coaster trains from RCT2 or one of its official expansions.
Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 28th of August at 19:00 CEST!
Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v3 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v3 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.
Rule 5: The maximum map size for this round is 5000 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 100 x 50 tiles, or 40 x 125 tiles.
Rule 6: There is no limit to the amount of opened rides you can have in the park.

How to join

Step 1: Join my Discord server. Discord is completely free!
Step 2: Build your map and decorate it!
Step 3: When you are done with your contest entry, go to my Discord, and use the /submitpark command in one of the channels, and follow the steps. Make sure our bot can DM you!
Step 4: If you want to update your story or save file, simply run the /submitpark command again, and follow the steps!

After the deadline has passed, I will put up a voting poll with all the entries. In this voting poll, everyone who is a member on my Discord, including you, will be able to rate all the other entries, and leave a short review.

When the voting period is over I will announce the results in a Youtube video!
