RCC74 - Disk'O Contest! (July 2025)

Hey everyone! We have less time this month because of the title sequence contest which lasted longer than normal, so this will be a very quick Ride Creation Contest! For this contest, everyone will have to make a Zamperla Disk'O! These rides come in different variations, which you can find on the Zamperla website. People usually make these with Hybrid Coaster track and Roto Drop vehicles, but sometimes other rotating vehicles are used, like boats from the River Rapids. You can find a tutorial for a simple version of this ride here: Creating a Disk'O Coaster

Rules

You are allowed to make teams of up to two people in this round!

  • Rule 1: You have to build a Disk'O ride on the map. The layout must look like one of the Zamperla Disk'O models.

  • Rule 2: You can choose which track or vehicles to use, but it must resemble a Disk'O ride.

  • Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 31st of July at 19:00 CEST!

  • Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v3 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v3 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.

  • Rule 5: The maximum map size for this round is 800 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 40 x 20 tiles, or 32 x 25 tiles.

  • Rule 6: There is no limit to the amount of opened rides you can have in the park.

  • Rule 7: Have fun!
