The go kart tracks you can normally make in RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 are quite limited in the track elements that are available, and the tracks have a very small width.. By making the track invisible and replacing it with a path, you can make the track look much wider! You can also make several invisible tracks next to each other, so you can have more go karts racing next to each other! This trick can also be used to make shortcuts in the track, which is very useful for less realistic Go Kart layouts! 

Another advantage of using this method is that it allows you to create elements in the track you normally would not be able to make, like wider turns and s-bends! The video below will explain how to do this!
