Park in an Unusual Location Contest

Hey everyone! It's time for our fourth Park Creation Contest! Here's a small riddle: What do an active volcano, an oil carrier, your mom's bedroom drawer, an asteroid, the bottom of the ocean and an Imperial Star Destroyer have in common? They're all locations where you wouldn't expect an amusement park! For this contest, you have to build a large park in an unusual location! Try to come up with an original location where you wouldn't expect an amusement park, and then build it in OpenRCT2!

You are allowed to make teams of up to four players in this contest! You can not submit a park that you have released anywhere else before!

Rule 1: You must build a park that is set in an unusual location. You can find some examples of unusual locations in the intro text. You can decide what you find an unusual location for a park, but you should probably pick something original if you want it to be well received by the community.

Rule 2: Your park must include the following:- A transport ride- At least 4 rollercoasters- At least 4 other rides

Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 16th of September 2025 at 19:00 CEST! To prevent rushing, you will not be allowed to submit your park before July 2025.

Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v2 or v3 workbench which are linked below on this page. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.

Rule 5: The minimum map size for this round is 5000 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 50 x 100 tiles, or 75 x 75 tiles.

Rule 6: There is no limit to the amount of opened rides you can have in the park.
