In the kingdoms of old the historians have written that these lands were once roamed by the Giant Apes (known through the scripture as the Ancient Primes). These once powerful creatures have since perished and now the new Kings have colonized most of the land. Though what is seen as only bones remaining some of the clergy believe that the Kings have been selfish to build on what is believed to be sacred lands and have brought on a curse to all who inhabit it. Outside the castle walls the peasants enjoy unique rides constructed by the Kingdom, serving as a distraction from their fate. For the spores of the overgrowth are known to be toxic. The wealthy operating carts that survey the land of its continued state of decay but also providing their own amusing distraction from the end which is looming forever nearer as the fungi spread ever closer towards the castle walls.
