December 2024 - Hyper-Twister Coaster!
Hey everyone!
Some of the biggest coasters in the world are Hyper Twister coasters! These coasters which are made by the company B&M (and used to be made by Giovanola) are often very tall, and notably do not have any inversions! They have comfortable seats with lap bars, and they get most of their thrill from being tall, fast, and providing the guests with nice airtime or high positive G-forces! Some examples of Hyper-Twister coasters are Shambhala at Portaventura World, Nitro at Six Flags Great America, Silver Star at Europa Park and Hollywood Dream at Universal Studios Japan!
Rules
You are allowed to make teams of up to four people in this round!
- Rule 1: You have to build a Hyper-Twister Coaster. Inversions are not allowed! You must use the Hyper-Twister Coaster track for most of the ride, but you are allowed to splice in sections of other track.
- Rule 2: You must use one of the Hyper-Twister Coaster trains from RCT2 or the official expansions.
- Rule 3: The deadline for this contest will be on the 27th of December at 19:00 CET!
- Rule 4: For this contest, you are only allowed to use objects from the RCT1 and RCT2 base game and their official expansions, OpenRCT2-official objects, and custom objects that are included in the DKSO v2.4 bench. Custom objects that are not in the DKSO v2.4 bench are not allowed, so make sure you don't use those. You are also allowed to use a custom palette if you want.
- Rule 5: The maximum map size for this round is 7500 tiles. This number will be calculated by multiplying the size of the map edges. You could for example make a map that is 75 x 100 tiles, or 86 x 87 tiles.
- Rule 6: There is no limit to the amount of opened rides you can have in the park.

How to join
- Step 1: Join my Discord server. Discord is completely free! https://dkmp.wtf/discord
- Step 2: Build your map and decorate it!
- Step 3: When you are done with your contest entry, go on Discord, and send the save file to me in a Private Message. For the name of the save file, I want you to simply use the name that you use on Discord. For example, if your discord name is therty, for the save file name, use therty.park. After you have sent the save file to me, I will look if it follows the rules, and I will check for anything you can still improve. You can resubmit your entry until the deadline of the round, even if I have already accepted it. Please deselect all unused custom objects before sending in the save file!
- Step 4: Submit a story for others to read in the voting poll! You can do this by writing your story in a Private Message to Deurklink on Discord!
After the deadline has passed, I will put up a voting poll with all the entries. In this voting poll, everyone who is a member on my Discord, including you, will be able to rate all the other entries, and leave a short review.
When the voting period is over I will announce the results in a Youtube video!
