In the very distant future, long after the last tree has been cut down, in a time where everything is made out of metal, glass and stone, people come here to witness something not seen in hundreds of years. This rollercoaster is the sole survivor of a time gone by. The only remaining wooden structure in the world. This is Remnant.

Now, a new era is imminent, since the researchers here at the Tree Research and Environmental Enhancement (T.R.E.E.) laboratory were successful in extracting useful genetic material from Remnant to recreate what was lost many decades ago, living trees!
