My first ever submission: Grand Coast-er Hotel:
Between the dunes and the cliffs lies the Grand Coast-er Hotel. When the owner of the prestigious Grand Hotel saw visitor numbers decline, he made a radical decision — inspired by the popularity of the nearby fairground — to attract new guests: building an inverted roller coaster straight through the hotel. The fact that the ride ruined the hotel’s famous Japanese garden was something he accepted as part of the deal. Many of the village’s residents, however, consider the roller coaster an eyesore.
