“I appreciate the RollerCoaster Tycoon’s efforts to honour Uganda. He probably meant well.

It is an interesting choice to theme the rides after the legends of our ancestors. In the past, people instilled obedience in their children by telling them the tale of “Obibi, eater of children”; my mother made me afraid of God instead. It is similar, but different. I think only dead people would feel a strong connection to the theming of these rides.

The coasters themselves however, of which there are 6, are relatively good for the most part. I think Lukwata was my favourite. The interesting thing about Lukwata is that the track dives under the water several times. Obibi and King Kazooba were a little too intense for me personally, but thrill seekers will be sure to enjoy these coasters.

It seems the park has made a special deal with Nile Brewery. By the end of the day, I was full of premium lager, which led to events for which I am now in prison. ”
