Wiegland GmbH & Co. KG, together with Gerstlauer GmbH and Snox Steel AG, has opened the second development phase of the “Gerstlauer Wiese” amusement park in Norway.((Rcc 81 Bobsled)
The highlight of the expansion is a new Alpine Coaster built by Wiegland, offering a fast and scenic ride experience. The park is also being expanded with a cinema and a “Flying Carpet” ride.
During the press conference, Gerstlauer announced that additional expansion phases are already planned, with the long-term goal of turning Gerstlauer Wiese into the largest amusement park in Europe.
Mr. Snox expressed great enthusiasm for the new park section. After the opening ceremony, he will continue his vacation with his sons at a leisure resort where a wooden roller coaster called “RCC 82 Wooden Rollercoaster” is planned.
