Welcome to London! See how many sights you can spot along the Southbank area of the River Thames. Travelling clockwise from Big Ben (ha, get it?) we have Westminster Palace and the Elizabeth Tower looming over Parliament Square where many people peacefully protest on a daily basis.

Not far from there is Whitehall; a collection of buildings where the country is supposedly run from including the Cenotapth, Downing Street, Dover House (Scottish government outpost) and the Royal Horseguard building. Behind there you’ll find Leicester Square with its iconic fountains and lions, overlooked by The National Gallery.

Reaching unapologetically into the sky the City financial district is composed here of the black skyscraper One Undershaft, next to a taller building that is… also… One Undershaft! Or at least will be once they knock the old one down and replace it. One Canada Square overlooks Tower Bridge and hiding just behind that is The Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels and home of the Royal Family many years before Buckingham Palace.

Cross the wobbly Millennium Bridge to the south of the river to get to The Tate Modern art gallery, built in a decommissioned power station and surrounded by many new fancy flats such as Neo Bankside with it’s expose beams and sharp angles.

On to the London Eye and London County Hall which is now home to many attractions such as the London Dungeons and Sea Life Centre. Valetta House impresses with its staggered rooftop gardens and is part of the newly redeveloped site of Battersea Power Plant which Pink Floyd fans may recognise from the Animals album cover. Then it’s a quick drive across Westminster Bridge back to the start.

There’s a lot of easter eggs for anyone inclined to scour this plot so please do enjoy!
