For 40 years, Owen Appleton has grown fresh produce for local businesses. After wife passed away, his sons all chipped in to finally make their father's lifelong dream a reality by remodeling the house and opening it to the public, so that Owen could serve his customers face to face. Owen's Orchard is now a popular destination for families and tourists wanting a taste of small town hospitality.

"I have been so blessed by the support of the local community." Owen says as he takes a sip of cider. "I can't wait to tell everyone about my Jonamac trees which should be producing next year! They will attract apple thoosies from all around."

Owen's Orchard often hosts local music bands and theater clubs at no cost. When no one is else is performing, Owen enjoys slaying the audience with his killer stand up routine.

Local resident Samantha S. had this to say when asked about the routine: "His references are all very dated, but they have their own charm."

Owen's Orchard offers pick your own apples and pumpkins. Pony rides are available for children whenever Owen's son has some free time to bring them over.
